About Erin Penrod
Erin obtained her Juris Doctor from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, where she was inducted into the Order of the Coif honor society, a prestigious honor bestowed upon those who graduate in the top 10% of their class. Before law school, Erin graduated Magna Cum Laude from the honors program at Ohio State University with a B.A. in English and a minor in Economics. In her first year of law school, Erin earned the Hartje Objective Writing Award for her exceptional legal writing and research and in her final year, she was named an Assistant Managing Editor on the Denver Law Review. In addition to her academic success, Erin’s outstanding trial skills were also recognized, as she was a quarterfinalist in DU’s Hoffman Cup Trial Advocacy Competition.
During law school, Erin worked as a judicial intern for the 18th District Court domestic docket and received family law training as a student law clerk at Willoughby & Associates. Erin also has a background in Constitutional Law, receiving her Constitutional Rights and Remedies Certificate from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law and working as a student associate for the Public Interest Litigation Lab.
