About Kristin Milano
Kristin Milano brings over two decades of exceptional legal experience to Griffiths Law, combining sophisticated problem-solving expertise with deep empathy for clients navigating family law matters. Her extensive background managing high-value litigation and trial advocacy uniquely positions her to handle the complex financial and emotional dimensions of domestic relations cases.
Kristin’s approach is both strategic and compassionate. While she prioritizes guiding clients toward fair and equitable settlements, she brings considerable trial experience and sophisticated advocacy skills, honed over decades in high-pressure courtrooms, to vigorously protect her clients’ interests when litigation becomes necessary.
As a seasoned attorney with a proven track record in high-stakes legal matters, Kristin has developed comprehensive litigation strategies, identified creative solutions to seemingly intractable disputes, and successfully negotiated numerous complicated settlements. Her litigation experience ranges from first-chairing felony jury trials as an Assistant District Attorney in New York City, where she was a founding member of the Gang/Major Case Bureau investigating complex conspiracies using advanced techniques including wiretap orders and long-term undercover operations, to leading multi-million dollar civil enforcement litigation as Assistant Chief Counsel for the Transportation Security Administration, where she supervised 35 attorneys across the country.
Throughout her career, Kristin has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to fighting for individual clients. As an Assistant District Attorney, she dedicated herself to protecting victims of domestic abuse and violent crime. During her federal service, she created the Assault Task Force to support employees who had been attacked while performing their jobs. This passion for advocacy, combined with her familiarity with the financial complexities inherent in family law matters, including real estate transactions and business valuations, and her genuine understanding of clients’ needs during life’s most challenging transitions, makes her an invaluable ally for clients seeking resolution.
Kristin earned her Juris Doctor from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law. She graduated cum laude from Miami University of Ohio with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. She is licensed to practice law in Colorado, New York, and California.
When she’s not advocating for her clients, Kristin enjoys time with her husband and two sons, traveling, and volunteering in her community.
To be chosen as someone’s advocate in their darkest hour is perhaps the greatest privilege our profession offers.
