Sheila Gutterman, Co-Founder, and Jennifer Holt, Senior Counsel, are winners of the Denver Bar Association’s 2017 Award of Merit and Volunteer Lawyer of the Year, respectively.
Sheila received this year’s Award of Merit after serving the Denver Bar Association throughout her career. Sheila has served on numerous DBA committees including the task force on domestic violence and alternative dispute resolution, to name a few. Sheila has also been devoted to helping run the DBA’s Barristers Ball, which she turned into a major fundraising mechanism for the Metro Volunteer Lawyers.
The Volunteer Lawyer of the Year was awarded to Jennifer for her extraordinary voluntary legal services. Jennifer devotes much of her time to the Metro Volunteer Lawyers.
